Chelsea have reached an agreement with Boca Juniors youngster to sign the player this summer, MySportDab reports.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have agreed personal terms with the 19-year-old and are ready to open talks with Boca Juniors for the services of the young player.
Anselmino is said to have given the nod for the move after Chelsea’s interest and will be hoping for a smooth deal for the move to be realized.
Details of the club’s terms of contract with him are undisclosed but he is likely to be tied to a long-term contract with the London outfit when an agreement is reached with Boca Juniors.
Anselmino will become Chelsea’s third signing this summer after the club completed deals for former Fulham defender Tosin Aderabioyo and Palmeiras prolific winger Estevao Willian.

Aaron Anselmino is an Argentine professional footballer, playing for Boca Juniors in Argentina Primera Division – the country’s elite football division. He plays as a defender and has earned rave reviews for his heroics on the field.
The young footballing sensation has made three senior club appearances for Boca Juniors but has been tipped as the next big talent with his composed and mature performances for Boca Juniors.
He signed his first professional contract with the club in 2023 and signed a new extension in 2024 till 2028 but is open to a transfer exit this summer.
Anselmino has yet to record any appearance on the international scene and is considered on starting point of his career. However, the young defender will be hoping to blossom as he prepares for a move to Stamford Bridge.
