Erik ten Hag STAYS, Man United Decision CONFIRMED!

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will continue in the dugout as the club’s manager next season, MySportDab reports.

After a largely dismal 2023-24 campaign, the Dutchman was linked to Man United exit this summer with reports the club are open to his exit.

At the end of the campaign, ten Hag had to wait for a lengthy review from the club’s hierarchy before learning his fate at the Old Trafford outfit.

Amidst the lengthy review, reports emerged United have contacted other possible replacement options for Erik ten Hag.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed talks have been held with former Chelsea and Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel was in the running to replace ten Hag.

The Res Devils reportedly had two meetings with Tuchel with no breakthrough as the 2021 Champions League winner opted to stay off management despite initially presenting his plans for the United project.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Manchester United have decided to stick with Erik ten Hag as the club’s manager next season.

The Old Trafford club have not only wanted to have Ten Hag continue as manager but are ready to enter into talks with the Dutchman for a possible new deal.

Close sources reveal despite a disappointing run in the 2023-24 season, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is said to have been impressed with the Dutchman’s ability to develop the club’s youngsters such as Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho.

Meanwhile, it is understood Erik ten Hag, who was reportedly frustrated with the delay during the review, is ready to work with INEOS and continue with the club.

The Dutchman will enter the last lap of his contract with Manchester United next season with a new offer now set to be discussed.
