Mattia Zaccagni scored late as Italy qualified for the Euro 2024 knockout stage after drawing Croatia 1-1, MySportDab reports.
It was a good game from both ends which saw a lot of action coming to play before the eventual result which could have gone anyway.

The game started well as the two nations came into the encounter with high expectations from their respective coaches.
Croatia knew the task at hand after their poor run which they needed to make something happen or crash out very early in the tournament.
Italwassl was involved as they looked sharp and continued pushing from their end to try and see what they could materialize.
The match did not spring out anything tangible despite how hard they tried pushing with numerous opportunities coming their way.
Croatia and Italy headed for the 45-minute break with a goalless scoreline which could have been different if they did make much effort.
There was so much that was witnessed in the remaining 45 minutes of action that the opportunities kept coming until something happened.
Italy did well enough from their end as things carried on between them which saw Gianluigi Donnarumma save Luka Modric’s penalty in the 54th minute.
However, Modric was able to score a goal in the 58th minute after Ante Budimir’s assist which the Real Madrid player scored from the loosed ball to make things 1-0 for Croatia.
The game entered additional time with still nothing happening from both teams who continued doing so much to make the situation in their favor.
