Harry Kane scored as England beat Slovakia 2-1 at Euro 2024 as the Three Lions picked up the round of 16 tickets, MySportDab reports.
Ivan Schranz’s goal was crucial as the Slovakians could have made history on a wonderful night but they just couldn’t keep up.
Phil Foden did score but it wasn’t meant to be Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane made sure they turned things around.

Both nations came into the encounter seeking to make something happen after making it through the group stages.
England started well with not many changes in their starting lineup with only Kobbie Mainoo making the list for the first time.
However, it was expected that Slovakia would put up a good fight which saw the teams finding it uneasy against themselves while things continued.
There was nothing to separate them until Ivan Schranz’s stunning goal which happened in the 25th minute with an assist coming from Strelec to make it 0-1.
Slovakia headed for the break with a 0-1 lead against England after a hectic 45 minutes of action which saw a lot happening on the pitch between both sides.
There was more to be played from both teams who came in for the remaining half looking to see what they could make happen.
England did well enough pressing and had Phil Foden score in the 56th minute, but it wasn’t meant to be as the goal was ruled out by VAR.
Slovakia continued to ensure they were well organized and did everything possible on their end to ensure there was something to keep their lead.
Jude Bellingham was able to level things 1-1 with his stunning goal which came in additional time with an assist from Marc Guehi as they headed for 90 minutes break in a draw scoreline.
Harry Kane was able to make it count in the 91st minute of extra time which saw Ivan Toney making up the assist as things turned 2-1 between them.
Slovakia did an impressive job as they ended up losing to England 2-1 as the Three Lions made it through to the quarter-final after extra time.
