France opened their Euro 2024 campaign with a 1-0 victory against Austria which was a very close game, MySportDab reports.
Kylian Mbappe led the national team attack as they were able to deliver in their opening game against a formidable side.

The match started well for the two National teams who had to make sure they kept it cool going forward and defending.
It was a very physical game in which the Austria national team was well involved and did their part so well to match everything thrown at them.
It wasn’t an easy ride as France couldn’t penetrate much despite Kylian Mbappe leading their attack which tried pushing but no way through.
An own-goal from Maximilian Wöber in the 38th minute gifted the Blues a 1-0 lead which came after multiple folds of pressure before an error was committed.
France was good with them staying in the lead after the end of 45 minutes with 1-0 against Austria who had their moments but couldn’t make them work.
The pressure in the second half was seen so much but the two nations had their defense on look down thanks to the good work from their coach.
The game continued with Austria behind as they kept on chasing and tried to see what could happen, but it wasn’t working with them hitting 60 minutes.
There wasn’t much that could happen as things between them carried on with France holding firmly to their advantage which saw them also missing some good opportunities on goal.
France ensured it was a full three points for them in the match after claiming a 1-0 win against Austria in their opening match for Euro 2024.
