EURO2024: Netherlands 0-0 France, VAR Rescue BLUES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

The Netherlands and France played out a goalless draw 0-0 in their second match of the group stages for Euro 2024, MySportDab reports.

It was a close one for both Nations who came in looking to add another three points to enable them book qualifications ahead of their last game in the group.

Dramatic VAR decision was the main focus of the match which decided the fate of both teams after 90 minutes of hard work.

The Blues came into the match without Kylian Mbappe starting after his nose injury in their first game of the group stages.

France did lacked a finisher in the Real Madrid striker who did play any part from kickoff as the match carried on between both nations.

The Netherlands had themselves in a better position at some point, but it wasn’t meant to happen for them in terms of making it count for the match.

It was more and more opportunities from both ends as they continued doing everything on their end trying to see what could come of the match.

The first half finished with the Netherlands and France playing a 0-0 goalless scoreline after 45 minutes of action which happened on the pitch.

More action came to play from the two sides who looked sharp and continued to create opportunities in search of the lead which didn’t come.

The Netherlands continued pushing while they also were faced with some moments that they had to struggle to keep themselves in the match.

France wasn’t having it as they missed Kylain Mbappe which was the oblivious final puzzle they needed to have made something happen in the match.

A dramatic event took place on the 70th minutes after Xavi Simons scored a goal which saw VAR coming into play and the goal was removed leaving things goalless.

France were lucky as they escaped the match with a 0-0 result against the Netherlands who have VAR to blame for not getting all three points.
