Spain recorded a 1-0 victory against Italy to qualify for the next round of Euro 2024, MySportDab reports.
An own-goal from Riccardo Calafiori was the difference that the Spaniards were able to capitalize on all through the game.

They both came in hot after winning their opening game of the Euro 2024 Championship to ensure they booked their place before their last group match.
Italy had a lot of work to do in containing their opponent attackers who were quick with pace as they continued running their defense tirelessly.
For Spain, it was more of them using Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams to cause havoc on the pitch, but it didn’t work out so much with them getting something tangible.
They continued playing themselves and creating opportunities which were all resulting in a waste or being kept out by either the defenders or goalkeeper.
Italy and Spain had to settle for a 0-0 scoreline after the end of the first half which had so many moments which was entertaining despite no goal to count.
There was more exceptional work put into the remaining 45 minutes which had both teams running after themselves trying to get something.
Italy’s composure was on point as they knew what was needed in the game to ensure they gave themselves a chance at survival going forward.
Spain kept their cool and continued playing until they forced an own-goal from Riccardo Calafiori in the 55th minute which made things 1-0 as things carried on.
The game came to an end with Spain claiming all three points with a 1-0 victory against Italy which pushed them into the next round with one game left to play in the group stages.
