Saudi Po League club, Al-Ittihad, have reportedly reached agreement for Kevin De Bruyne’s switch to Saudi Arabia, MySportDab reports.

According to journalist, Rudi Galeti, the 2022-23 Saudi Po League champions have agreed personal terms with the 33-year-old for a transfer.

Further details reveal talks is ongoing between Al-Ittihad and Manchester City to secure a deal for the player. De Bruyne has one year left on his Manchester City contract.

MySportDab understands Manchester City had hoped to keep the 33-year-old Belgium international with a new contract proposal planned.

However, De Bruyne has gesticulated towards leaving the Premier League outfit after almost a decade with the club. Speaking during last campaign, the prolific midfielder said he won’t turn down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia to join the burgeoning Saudi League and is ready to spent the last lap of his heroic career in the Gulf State.

Kevin De Bruyne joined Manchester City from Wolfsburg in 2015 and has been an integral part of City’s rise to a Premier League and European powerhouse.

After a brilliantly decorated campaign with Manchester City, in which he won 15 major titles, Kevin De Bruyne could join the likes of former Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante and former Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema at the Saudi outfit.

With negotiations ongoing, Manchester City are reportedly ready to welcome bids from Al-Ittihad for De Bruyne with the chances of having him sign a new contract getting slimmer.

The Belgian playmaker will be the second top Manchester City player to complete a move to Saudi Arabia recently after the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Laporte, who left the club last summer to Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr respectively.
