Angella and her twin sister were once in an orphanage home before their grandmother, Mary Ndonda, took them in with her three others.

Mary worked as a cleaner, so putting food on the table was very hard for an older woman with five children to feed.

Angella Okutoyi was handed the tennis bat at the age of 4. The blood of tennis in the family made Okutoyi start playing the sport, and she excelled at it.

She won the girl’s doubles title with her Netherlands partner, Rose Marie Nijkamp.

At the I.T.F. circuit finals, she competed in three singles. She was a runner-up in one match in November 2022 and a winner of 2 titles in July and December, respectively.

She was achieving both titles on hard and clay surfaces.

For the six doubles tournament, She got two runner-up positions in October and December 2023 and won four titles.

All wins range from 1 to 4, and losses from 0 to 2. She partnered with Smriti Bhasin on a clay surface and won an I.T.F. title in November 2022.

Her second I.T.F. title was with Beverly Nyangon on a hard surface in July 2023.

The third title was gotten with Sada Nahimana on a clay surface in December 2023.

She got the last title as of May 2024 with Merna Refaat on a hard surface.
