Arsenal first offer for Riccardo Calafiori has been rejected by Bologna with them holding out for a higher price, MySportDab reports.

The player on his side is good to go after he was approached by the London club who want to sign him this summer.

Riccardo Calafiori bid has been rejected by Bologna which was made by Arsenal as a first approach between both clubs.

Chelsea are also lurking around and looking to make something happen for the player after making their own approach.

There are no confirmation on what offer was made by the Blues but we know they are looking to add players into the negotiation.

According to Transfer News Live, Arsenal offer have been rejected immediately it was put through to Bologna some hours ago.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Arsenal have had an initial £40m offer for Riccardo Calafiori rejected, but they are only £2m away from Bologna’s valuation. It’s close.

It is yet to be known if they would come back with another offer as Chelsea could present a more suitable deal for the player.

Bologna won’t be going down on the price knowing that 50 per cent from the deal would be going to another club.

It won’t be an easy one until the actual condition is met before a deal would happen as the Italian side will have to split money received into two ways.

Arsenal will have to make a better offer for Riccardo Calafiori who is already open to making a move happen this summer window.
