Arsenal have tabled an offer for Riccardo Calafiori over a possible move amid Chelsea interest, MySportDab reports.
The defender is one who have been getting lot of attention from a number of teams on the transfer market this summer.
Riccardo Calafiori is currently being courted by Arsenal and Chelsea who both want to make a move happen so badly.
Both teams have been monitoring the situation and trying to find a way of making something happen this summer window.
It is said that Bologna are expected to make high demands for the defender who has seen his value skyrocketed after Euro 2024.
According to report from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed that Arsenal are already making a move on signing the player ahead of Chelsea.

“Arsenal have presented long term proposal to Riccardo Calafiori, after interest revealed last week.
“Understand player’s open to joining Arsenal if they can agree terms with Bologna. Chelsea are still there.
“Arsenal and Chelsea, the only two clubs in talks right now.
It won’t be an easy deal with Bologna being the only stumbling block for now based on their demands for the player.
There is also a clause of 50 percent sale for the player which would go to his former club Basel if anything happens.
Chelsea are yet to make any approach of their own despite them having strong interest based on Enzo Maresca preference.
Riccardo Calafiori is open to leaving Bologna as his intention is playing with a top team in Europe ahead of the new season.
