England advanced into the Euro 2024 semifinals beating Switzerland via penalty 5-3 after 120 minutes of 1-1 draw, MySportDab reports.
It was another pulsating encounter between both teams who had so much pushing all through the encounter.
The Three Lions were able to make it through after an exceptional play which saw them coming from behind to make things happen.

There was alot of talking points coming into the match which saw Gareth Southgate coming with some minor changes to the team.
England were comfortable from kicked off which saw them making some opportunities from their end which provided nothing.
For Switzerland, they were equally in the match doing all they could to ensure something happened going forward.
There wasn’t anything they could do in the entire 45 minutes which came to an end with things staying 0-0 between them as they headed for the break.
The action in the second half was so much from both sides as they continued to knock around and made something happen.
Switzerland took the lead in the 75th minutes through a wonderful finish scored by Breel Embolo to ensure things became 0-1 going forward.
England wasted no time in coming back level through Bukayo Saka with a goal in the 80th minutes which was assisted by Declan Rice to make things 1-1.
It was clear that both countries had done exceptional job as they both ended the 90 minutes of action with a 1-1 scoreline which needed extra time.
The extra time was a cagey one between both sides who had to put in so much efforts from their end and nothing did come out of them.
However they did well enough pushing all through the 90 minutes which saw England and Switzerland settling for a draw with penalties ahead.
Cole Palmer started off from the spot which Manuel Akanji missed as England went on to claim a 5-3 victory against Switzerland from penalty to advance into Euro 2024 semifinal.
