Chelsea suffer a humiliating 1-4 defeat in their second preseason match as Enzo Maresca ball fails again, MySportDab reports.
The match from the first 45 minutes was unbearable to watch for many fans of the Blues who saw the side being ripped apart.
It was another unbearable game for the Blues who couldn’t defend well enough as they were belittled by Scottish side.
First Half Report
It was an unbearable 45 minutes of action in which the Scottish side took full advantage of everything on the pitch going forward and defending well.
Chelsea started the game so well until they conceded in the 19th minute through a wonderful placed finish which came from Matt O’Riley to make it 0-1.
Celtic continued creating numerous opportunities that didn’t immediately work out, but they came close on some occasions but could finish off for a goal.
Another goal was scored in the 33rd minutes making it 0-2 for the Scottish side which saw Kyogo Furuhashi finishing so well with just a tap in.
Chelsea were humiliated in the first half which finished 0-2 in favor of Celtic who were brilliant and made sure they capitalized on all the lapses that was made available.
Second Half Report
There was a lot of changes from Enzo Maresca who took another approach to the game as he didn’t enjoy what happened in the first half.
Chelsea pressed from kickoff but they conceded again in the 76th minutes after an error saw Palma scored a stunner to make things 0-3.
Celtic made it 0-4 in the 79th minutes which was another poor play from the Blues before Johnston made it count for his side.
Christopher Nkunku was able to get something from the penalty spot in the 89th minutes made things ended with Chelsea losing 1-4 to Celtic as they were unable to make much happen.
