Atletico Madrid Submit Bid For Julian Alvarez

La Liga club Atletico Madrid have submitted their opening bid to Manchester City for the services of Julian Alvarez, MySportDab reports.

Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the La Liga top side have stepped up their move for Alvarez, who is currently facing an uncertain future at the club.

Details of the report reveals Julian Alvarez’s possible move to Atletico Madrid is contingent upon other transfer-related moves by Atletico Madrid.

While the club is genuinely interested in Alvarez, Romano reveals a deal for the player will depend on the club’s ability to part ways with one of their forwards Samu Omorodion, who is linked to a move to Chelsea.

“Atlético Madrid have submitted official bid to Manchester City to sign Julián Álvarez.

“Deal depends on Omorodion’s exit as Chelsea are in talks over £35m deal to sign Samu from Atlético, advancing well.

“Domino on but Samu leaves only if Atlético agree Julián deal,” Fabrizio Romano says

Meanwhile, Julian Alvarez has three years left on his Manchester City contract but is making the headlines on a possible exit from the club due to lack of game time.

While Manchester City are interested in keeping the World Cup winner, it is understood the club would not make a concrete attempt to stop the player from leaving if he so desires.

MySportDab understands the Argentina international will enter into negotiations with the club on his future amidst the reports of his imminent exit.

He was in action with Argentina U-23 in the ongoing 2024 Olympics but is set to return to Manchester City after the team crashed out in the quarterfinals of the competition.
