Chelsea have made their intention known to Conor Gallagher who have hold back on accepting a move elsewhere, MySportDab reports.

The midfielder plan to remain with the club isn’t looking likely to keep for anytime soon with more drama unfolding.

Conor Gallagher recently returned to Cobham where decision have been made concerning his career and future with the club going forward.

His part on the club was also made clear to him as they intend to sell him due to his style of play which is different from their current plan.

The player already turned down the chance of extending on a two year contract which the club also made their reasons clear.

Reports reaching us from Fabrizio Romano have confirmed Chelsea decision to make their intention known to the player with his exit now imminent.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Chelsea have told Conor Gallagher he will only be a squad player if he stays at the club.

“It’s also why Chelsea only offered Gallagher a 2+1 contract, which was rejected on Wednesday and in June.

“There are concerns Enzo Maresca’s high-possession system might not suit Gallagher and he may not get as many starts as last season.

“Chelsea believe it would be a mistake in football and financial terms to offer Gallagher a longer-term contract, and doing so could also jepordise his England chances for the 2026 World Cup.

“Atletico Madrid’s offer remains on the table. Understand they want an answer from Gallagher by Monday.

Things are now complicated with the Premier League club already made their intention known to the player.

Conor Gallagher could be leaving anytime soon if there is no changes with the contract with Chelsea while Atletico Madrid offer still stand going forward.
