Top Premier League teams have been drawn against their opponent for the EFL Carabao Cup 3rd round, MySportDab reports.
All teams now know their fate as the 2024/25 season Cup games is now set to kickoff this year 2024.
Champions Liverpool will look to defend their title which was won in the previous season against Chelsea during Jurgen Klopp era.
The Reds won’t have it easy defending their title as they are the only Premier League side to face a top flight team in West Ham United.
The draws had some new format being implemented by the English FA which the top six teams who face each other.
It simply means that the top six teams who made it to Europe won’t play against themselves in the third round draws.

With the games now confirmed, it is expected to see more Premier League teams make it into the next round.

The third round only big fixture in the Carabao Cup is Liverpool going up against West Ham United while other big teams have a fair opponent.
