Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has blamed three  Manchester United players for the teams Premier League loss to Brighton on Saturday, MySportDab reports.

Speaking after the team’s 2-0  defeat to the Seagulls, the former Ajax boss made it clear that the team would have done more to avert the loss. According to him, the players gave in easily to the two goals they conceded in the match.

“It’s unacceptable. That is not the standard. The team would have done more not to concede cheap goals in the match. they gave in too easily to the opponents,” he said.

Ten hag particularly mentioned Brighton’s second goal, blasting the players for allowing Brighton and Ivorian winger Adingra, who is a left-footer, to cross the ball for joao pedro to score the late winner.

We didn’t stop the cross. There were three players. [Adingra is a] right-footed player, send him down the line, send him wide instead of letting him come in and let the cross,” he added.

The three players Ten Hag apparently pointed fingers after the loss are Kobbie Mainoo, Diogo Dalot, and new signing from Bayern Munich Noussair Mazraoui.

The trio stood out Adingra as he covered his paces and then floated the cross for Joao Pedro to score.

Notably, Brighton had started on a good note from the first half.  Former Manchester  United forward Danny Welbeck opened the scoring fo the home side in the first half before Amad Diallo home the equalizer in the 60th minute.

It nearly ended in a draw before joao Pedro scored the winner with Adingra’s cross. The loss means Manchester United have now lost fourof their last five Premier League games against Brighton.

It was a disappointing game for the Red Devils. However, they will be hoping to bounce back in their next match against Liverpool in Sunday
