FT: Arsenal 4-1 Bayer Leverkusen, Kai Havertz STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Kai Havertz scored against former club as Arsenal thrashed Bayer Leverkusen 4-1 in a friendly match, MySportDab reports.

The Gunners were unstoppable as they made light work of the German Champions who couldn’t do much of a thing.

It was a wonderful 90 minutes of action for Mikel Arteta who is expected to push his side for the Premier League title this season.

First Half Report 

The game started with both teams teasing themselves to try and find a hole that they could explore going forward.

Arsenal waited until the 8th minute to score the opening goal which came through Oleksandr Zinchenko making sure things became 1-0 between them.

Bayer Leverkusen conceded another goal which came in the 9th minutes through Leandro Trossard ensuring it was 2-0 with a lot left to be played.

The game slowed down a bit with nothing happening until the 38th minute which saw Gabriel Jesus making things 3-0 as they pushed on forward.

There was nothing Bayer Leverkusen could do as the game ended 3-0 against Arsenal who made sure they scored for fun on their end.

Second Half Report 

There was so much from the remaining 45 minutes which was evenly balanced and both teams had so much to offer.

Bayer Leverkusen was a different side who started the second half well with sound defending, unlike the first 45 minutes which was bad.

Kai Havertz did manage to make things 4-0 for Arsenal in the 66th minute which was a wonderful finish against the player’s former team.

There was so much to play as Hložek got a consolidation for the German side which came in the 76th minute to make it 4-1.

Arsenal finished the match with a 4-1 victory against Bayer Leverkusen making sure they claimed what was needed after 90 minutes why condemning the German Champions to another defeat that was not expected.
