Erling Haaland scored a hattrick as Manchester City came from behind to thrash Ipswich Town 4-1 to move top of the Premier League, MySportDab reports.
It was another game with goals from the striker who made sure he continued scoring from where he left off last season.
Pep Guardiola’s side now sits at the top of the Premier League table after two games which they both won to put themselves ahead.
First Half Report
The game had some shocking start which many never predicted to see happen very early in the encounter coming from the away side.
Ipswich Town took the lead in the 7th minutes after an outrageous goal scored by Sammie Szmodics with assist from Johnson to make things 0-1.
Manchester City were in no hurry as their moment came in the 12th as Erling Haaland scored from the penalty spot which made things 1-1 between both teams.
Another goal followed in the 14th minutes through Kevin De Bruyne who finished off an assist which came from Savinho to make things 2-1.
De Bruyne was able to setup Erling Haaland for the 3rd goal which came in the 16th minutes as the Premier League Champions made a turn which saw them led 3-1.
There wasn’t anymore action as Manchester City headed for the break staying 3-1 ahead against Ipswich Town who started well in the early minutes.
Second Half Report
The second half didn’t give much from both ends which saw the goals also drying up as they struggled to put things together.
Manchester City were calm knowing the lead was on their side and they had total control of everything happening on the pitch.
For Ipswich Town it was them defending and at same time pushing to see what they could put together as they were far behind.
Erling Haaland put an end to everything after scoring his hattrick for the match in the 88th minute which made sure Manchester City claimed a 4-1 victory against Ipswich Town.
