Chelsea booked their place in the Conference League despite losing to Servette 2-1 in the second leg qualifier to make it 2-3 on aggregate, MySportDab reports.

Christopher Nkunku scored once again as the Blues continued to rebuild under Enzo Maresca who so far have lost just once since the season started.

However, it was another defeat for the Maresca side unable to get a victory which saw them scraping through for qualification.

First Half Report

The match had its moment from kickoff which saw the Blues coming at the back of a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge which happened in England.

It was a good opening first 10 minutes for Servette who had an impressive display from making sure they went down earlier.

However, they were forced into conceding a penalty which saw Christopher Nkunku stepping up to ensure he scored in the 14th minute to make it 0-1.

It was looking good for the Premier League side until an error saw Axel Disasi lose his man who passed through to set Jeremy Guillemenot to make it 1-1 in the 32nd minute.

The first half didn’t provide anything else as Servette held Chelsea to a 1-1 draw after 45 minutes of action between them for the night.

Second Half Report

It was a second half with more action as Enzo Maresca had so much to do on his end which changed the whole situation.

Servette kept their cool and continued to play calmly knowing they had their home supporters pushing them to make something happen.

It was a poor performance interpretation from the Chelsea side who continued struggling to make any impact despite Enzo Maresca’s changes.

Enzo Crivelli stunned the Blues after his wonderful header goal which came in the 72nd minute to make things 2-1.

Chelsea lost 2-1 against Servette after 90 minutes but they managed to book a place in the UEFA Europa Conference League for the season with a 2-3 aggregate.
