Manchester United survived Real Betis scare to secure a comeback victory over the La Liga side in pre-season friendly in the USA, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils needed a win to boost their confidence after surrendering a one-goal lead to settle for a 2-1 loss to Arsenal.

Real Betis started bright with a goal from Losada just 15 minutes into the game.

Three minutes, after Losada’s goal, Manchester United won a spotkick. Marcus Rashford converted it spotlessly to peg back the opponents to a 1-1 draw.

After the goal, United went on a free scoring spree to consolidate their grasp on proceedings.

Amad Diallo scored in the 24th minute to fire the Red Devils into the lead. Seven minutes later, Casemiro extended the lead for the ten Hag-led side to make it 3-1.

It was a superb effort for the Premier League club. The quickfire triple of goals saw United overturned the game in a flash to lead 3-1 at the break.

The second half took a different trajectory with Real Betis putting up a more solid performance to curtail Man United’s dominance.

The second half nearly ended without a goal before Loriente scored for Real Betis to reduce the deficit and put United on their frays.

Both sides missed a couple of chances to score and add to the tally. At the blast of the final whistle, it ended with Manchester United winning 3-2 to return to winning ways after the loss to Arsenal.
