Portuguese and world footballing icon Cristiano Ronaldo is set to bring his craft, skills, and iconic career trails to YouTubers, MySportDab reports.
The Manchester United and Real Madrid legend has finally opened his YouTube Channel for the first time after fruitless attempts.
Taking to his other social media handle, X, the 39-year-old announced to his over hundred million followers his new and first page on the popular video sharing platform.
And that was not the talking point. As expected, users of the platform were on hand to welcome the legendary footballer to the platform with a massive and record-breaking following.
In just an hour of opening the account, MySportDab confirmed that his followership skyrocketed to an astonishing one million plus.
At the time of filing this report, the followers is increasing at the rate of hundreds of thousands in minutes and is currently standing at 1.6million.
The massive following has made the renowned football ace the first personality in the platform to wield such massive following in a short time.
While the conversation has revolved around the footballers’ huge following as the minutes go by, it is understood the Al-Nassr forward did not initially refuse to open a YouTube account as a matter of choice.
According to reports, the video sharing platform blocked the Portuguese’ multiple attempts to open his account on the platform due to the heavy traffic and monetization issues it could cause.
As things stand, it appears the hurdle has been crossed by both parties with Ronaldo now set to enthral his new audience with the theatrics of his career.
