Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen is the hottest transfer topic with the transfer window set to close on Friday, August 30, 2024.

Chelsea and Al-Ahli are the two clubs still standing in the race for Osimhen. According to Fabrizio Romano, Al-Ahli have submitted a lucrative four-year contract proposal to Osimhen worth £25million each year.

Chelsea are also said to be talking on contract terms with the player. Osimhen’s future is likely to be determined in the final hours of the transfer window. According to close sources, he is likely to join Al-Ahli if Chelsea cannot agree personal terms with the player.

Aaron Ramsdale

Southampton have reportedly agreed terms with Arsenal for Aaron Ramsdale. The Saints will pay £25million for the England goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Arsenal have reportedly moved for Spanish and Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia to replace Ramsdale.

Jadon Sancho

Juventus are leading the race for Man United winger Jadon Sancho. The Serie A club have advanced in the move for the 24-year-old but are battling to resolve terms of agreement with Manchester United.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A giants want a loan deal with a ‘buy-out’ clause. Manchester United are also ready for a loan deal but with ‘obligation to buy’ clause.

Raheem Sterling

Chelsea are also in the race for Jadon Sancho but with a different proposal to United. They want to swap Raheem Sterling for Sancho.

Talks are ongoing with United for a deal. Raheem Sterling, who has three years left in his Chelsea contract, is open to a move to United.

He has been linked to a move to Saudi Arabia but reportedly wants to continue his career in the Premier League and is ready to take a pay cut to do so.

In other transfer news updates, Celta Vigo have completed the signing of former Chelsea and Barcelona star Marco Alonso.

Wilfried Zaha’s possible move to the Premier League has been quashed due to task issues. His former club Crystal Palace led the list of clubs who were interested in the Ivory Coast winger.
