Chelsea open talks for Victor Osimhen

After initially going cold on the move for Victor Osimhen, Chelsea have stepped up their pursuit of the player. Italian outlets report the Blues have opened talks with Napoli for the Nigeria international.

MySportDab understands Napoli are still holding out for their £110 asking price for the player with Chelsea reluctant to meet the demand.

However, the Blues are set to explore a swap option for Osimhen with Romelu Lukaku set to move in the opposite direction.

Meanwhile, PSG, who initially led the race for Osimhen, has marched breaks on the move due to Napoli’s valuation of the player.

Manchester United back off from Manuel Ugarte move

Manchester United have reportedly backed off from their move for Uruguayan and PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte. The Red Devils are not ready to pay as much as £51 for Ugarte, as per French outlets.

So, talks with PSG have stalled with the Ligue 1 giants not ready to lower the asking price for the player either. Ugarte was ready to take up a new challenge at Old Trafford with United but could now continue with the Ligue 1 giants following the transfer deadlock.

Nevertheless, sources close to Manchester United reveal the club is still ready to return to the Ugarte move should PSG change their stand on the player.

Conor Gallagher finally agrees to Atletico Madrid move

Gallagher has finally agreed on a deal to join Atletico Madrid after being frozen out of the Chelsea squad by new manager Enzo Maresca.

Chelsea accepted a £34m bid from Atletico Madrid for Gallagher but the player dilly-dallied on agreeing personal terms with the La Liga outfit.

He had hoped to secure a long-term contract with the Blues’ after turning down a two-year deal but it didn’t go as planned, hence the decision to pit tent with Atletico for a new challenge

RB Leipzig have reportedly received a £45.5m bid for Olmo but have yet to decide due to unresolved terms of payment by the suitors.

Barcelona is offering to pay an initial £21.5m fee and then clear the remaining part via installments.
