AFCONQ25: Rwanda 0-0 Nigeria, Super Eagles Held To A DRAW! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

The Super Eagles of Nigeria bow to a 0-0 goalless draw against Rwanda in Kigali for the Afcon 2025 qualifiers match, MySportDab reports.

It was an end-to-end encounter between both teams from kickoff which saw a goal being ruled out in the first half.

The home side had their goalkeeper to thank as he did so much in ensuring they stayed in the match as long as they needed.

First Half Report

The action was enough in the game at Kigali which saw opportunities flying through from both ends of the pitch as things carried on.

The Rwanda national team had their moments which saw them pulling through with everything they could offer, but it didn’t give them a goal.

Nigeria had its moment with Ademola Lookman making it count but his goal was immediately called back as things stayed goalless.

It was more of different opportunities with Victor Boniface hitting the woodwork with his strike which could have been the opening break.

The first half ended with the Super Eagles of Nigeria settling for 0-0 against Rwanda after 45 minutes of action which happened at the Kigali Stadium.

Second Half Report

The game resumed with more intensity coming from both national teams who wanted the goal so badly in the encounter.

Nigeria did enough to try and make something materialize, but anytime they came close they couldn’t just fix things together into a goal.

Rwanda continued to grow much into the game as they came close but their finishing was always flying wide off the target at each given time.

Ademola Lookman’s strike was saved by the goalkeeper which was a real chance that could have made a huge difference as things continued.

Nigeria couldn’t make anything happen on their end as the match came to an end with a 0-0 goalless draw between them and Rwanda.
