Cristiano Ronaldo has continued on his prolific goal-scoring run for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, MySportDab reports.

The Al-Nassr forward found the back of the net as the club eased to a 0-3 away victory over Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi top flight.

Al-Nassr held sway over proceedings, registering 54% of the ball possession and with more attempts on target.

However, they were nearly held to a goalless draw at the break before Cristiano Ronaldo broke the deadlock after the hosts conceded a penalty.

Ronaldo converted the spot-kick with ease to put the visitors in front three minutes after the half-hour.

The goal was enough to saw the team off to the lanes of triumph in the game.

Despite going a goal down at the break, Al-Ettifaq did little to mount a comeback in the second half.

Al-Nassr continued on their dominant start to the game and were looking set to double the lead and snatch all three points.

It was not long before they finally made it happen. Eleven minutes into the second half, Al Najdi added to Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal to extend the lead, thanks to an assist by former Liverpool and Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane.

With two goals up, Al-Nassr but were cruising to victory as the Steven Gerrard-led side failed to make their presence felt in the game.

They managed a few attempts on target were totally outclassed by a more brilliant Al-Nassr side.

Twenty minutes before regulation time, Talisca sealed the victory for Al-Nassr, scoring to make it 3-0.

The game ended with Al-Nassr snatching their second victory in four matches in the ongoing campaign. They are now fourth on the table with 8, a point behind title challengers Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal, who have one outstanding match each and have won all their matches of the campaign.
