The Catalans saw off Getafe with a narrow 1-0 victory to make it seven wins in seven matches since the start of the season.
Robert Lewandowski’s 19th-minute strike was all the Hansi Flick-led team needed to secure all three points against the Azulones.
They dominated the game from the start and were looking set to coast to a deserved victory. Getafe struggled to find their footing with the Catalans in absolute control.
The second half was no different with the La Liga title hopefuls still dominating proceedings. However, they failed to convert numerous chances that came their way.
Notably, Lewandowski scored his seventh goal in seven games in the campaign to maintain his spot as the leading scorer in the season.
The win has seen the club reopen their four-point lead on top of the La Liga table after Real Madrid closed it to a point following a 3-2 win over Alaves at Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.

After the Osasuna match they will host Young Boys in the UEFA Champions League matchday two clash on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Their opening UEFA Champions League match against Monaco ended in a 2-1 loss, and they will be hoping to translate the brilliant domestic run into the European scene by returning to winning ways against Young Boys.
