His premature departure points to his apparent frustration with his mistakes that led to Liverpool’s two goals.

Also, the incident has further sparked speculations on his future at the club with all not going well now with him in the team.

The Brazilian’s poor showing against Liverpool wasn’t the first time he has disappointed in a competitive match. Last season, he was constantly in the spotlights for his sub-par deliveries which fueled speculations he could be sold this summer.

However, United manager Erik ten Hag put down the rumors, insisting the midfielder is an integral part of his squad for the ongoing campaign.

Now, it appears the relationship between the pair has broken down following the Liverpool match saga.

Manchester United recorded their second defeat this season, collapsing to a shock 3-0 home defeat to the Reds in the match.

A brace from Luis Diaz from the Brazilian’s mistakes and a 52nd-minute goal by Mohamed Salah saw the Reds make it three wins out of three.
