Arsenal needed two late goals from Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz to put a hard-fighting Leicester City to the sword at the Emirates, MySportDab reports.
The Premier League title hopefuls recorded a strong start to the game but were finding could not find the back of the net early.
Gabriel Martinelli finally gave the hosts the lead after latching volleying home a cut-back cross to make it 1-0. Before the break, Leandro Trossard scored in the first minute of first-half stoppage-time to double the lead.
The two goals saw the Gunners eased to a deservedly 2-0 lead after a dominant display. Meanwhile, Leicester City had no shot on target throughout the first half and struggled against Arsenal’s constant pressure.
In the second half, Leicester City bounced back dramatically. Justin James headed home Bouanotte’s free-kick to reduce the deficit and restore comeback hopes.
After conceding, Arsenal doubled up efforts to extend the lead but were dealt a big blow after the hour with Justin James scoring a beautiful curled strike to peg the hosts to a dramatic 2-2 draw.
It was an unlikely double from a Leicester City side who made little progress in keeping the ball or triggering attack. The two goals came from their third attempt on goal throughout the goal.
Facing the prospects of dropping points, Arsenal ramped up effort to retake the lead but were finding it difficult to break the Foxes’ hardline defence.
The visitors were close to racing to the finish line and securing an unlikely point at the Emirates before Leonardo Trossard scored again in stoppage to restore the lead.
Just as the last touch of the ball, Kai Havertz was also on target to seal a dramatic 4-2 win for the Mikel Arteta-led side.
With the victory, Arsenal have now climbed to second place on the table with 14 points with Leicester City still searching for their first win this season under new manager Steve Cooper.
