Kevin de Bruyne scored a brace as Belgium beat Isreal 3-1 in the UEFA Nations League encounter, MySportDab reports.
The Manchester City midfielder was in fine form as he helped the devils put up with a wonderful victory at home.
First Half Report
The game started well with the home side taking the front foot and doing everything to make things happen.
Israel came prepared and weren’t looking bad until the 21st minute which saw Jeremy Doku set up Kevin de Bruyne to make things between them 1-0.
Belgium were forced into conceding an own-goal which came in the 36th minutes through Timothy Castagne as the game turned 1-1.
It was quite a cagey first half which saw Israel holding Belgium to a 1-1 after 45 minute of action which saw lots of opportunities.
Second Half Report
There was more goals which was all about coming from the home side from kickoff until end of the second half.
Lois Openda picked up Youri Tielemans who was able to score in the 48th minutes ensure Belgium took back their lead 1-2.
Israel pushed once again but couldn’t make anything Kevin de Bruyne made things 1-3 with a penalty in the 52nd minute of the match.
Lois Openda had an opportunity to increase things in the 56th minutes from the penalty spot, but he missed the chance of scoring.
However, it didn’t stop Belgium from claiming all three points after beating Israel 1-3 at home at the UEFA Nations League.
