It was a wonderful game at the Vitality Stadium which saw some dramatic display from the first half to the ending.

It was a hard fought victory for Enzo Maresca side who had to dig through with everything before getting the winning goal.

First Half Report

There was enough to be seen in the match in which both teams had their moments which couldn’t make anything in the first 45 minutes.

Chelsea was in control as more of the ball was in their possession while they did everything possible to attempt to take the lead as they pushed on.

Bournemouth grew in confidence seeing they were able to match everything their opponent threw at them which couldn’t make any difference hitting the half-hour mark.

Robert Sanchez came to the rescue after causing a penalty which saw him save the spot kick from Evanilson in the 38th minute of the encounter.

There was nothing exceptional in the first half which ended with Bournemouth 0-0 Chelsea which was kept goalless by the Blues goalkeeper.

Second Half Report

Both sides entered for the remaining 45 minutes with so much work left to be done to make sure there was something tangible to happen.

Bournemouth kept at it knowing all they needed was to put up solid defending and make sure they push with their attackers to try and make something.

Enzo Maresca was quick to start making his changes which went forward paying off the team as their game changed for the better.

It was more pressure from Chelsea with Jadon Sancho causing all manner of havoc in the wing trying to create some opportunities.

Christopher Nkunku made it count in the 86th minute with assist from Jadon Sancho which ended up seeing Chelsea claimed a 0-1 victory against Bournemouth.
