Cole Palmer scored four goals as Chelsea came from behind to spank Brighton and Hove Albion 4-2, MySportDab reports.
Palmer’s goals set a new record for becoming the only player to score four in a Premier League first-half encounter.
It was another show for Jadon Sancho who made assists and also caused a penalty in the match which was a good one.
First Half Report
It was a good start which saw the away side taking the lead after Robert Sanchez’s error which saw Georginio Rutter make it 0-1 in the 7th minute.
Chelsea did score a goal which was offside before Cole Palmer leveled things in the 21st minute 1-1 with an assist from Nicolas Jackson.
Another goal for the England International came in the 28th minute after VAR ruled out Jadon Sancho’s goal in the 24th minute as things turned 2-1 from the penalty spot.
Cole Palmer made it a hattrick in the 31st minute after making it count from an incredibly distanced freekick ensuring things became 3-1 for both teams.
Carlos Baleba scored from yet another Robert Sanchez error in the 34th minute which brought things between between teams to 3-2 as they continued.
Cole Plamer announced himself again with a stunner in the 41st minute which saw four for him and the scoreline 4-2 with an assist from Jadon Sancho.
Chelsea were 4-2 ahead against Brighton and Hove Albion after 45 minutes of action which happened at Stamford Bridge for the afternoon.
Second Half Report
The action continued in the second half as the away side had to deploy more tactics into their horrible defense
Chelsea and Brighton held on fine with opportunities coming from both ends which saw Jackson missing out on a very close one.
Marc Cucurella scored at some point in the game, but his goal was judged as offside before he was replaced in the encounter which carried on.
Chelsea ended the match with three points which pushed them to third place after beating Brighton and Hove Albion 4-2 at Stamford Bridge.
