FT: Chelsea 5-0 Barrow, Nkunku Net HAT-TRICK! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Christopher Nkunku scored a hattrick as Chelsea thrashed Barrow 5-0 to move into the next round of the Carabao Cup, MySportDab reports.

The game saw a different side coming out to play as Enzo Maresca decided on giving a number of key players some rest.

The encounter wasn’t that bad as the Blues made sure they faced no struggles despatching their opponent who had no chance.

First Half Report 

The Blues started on the front foot with a goal from Christopher Nkunku which came in the 8th minutes with assist from Joao Felix to make it 1-0.

Barrow knew they stood no chance after conceding an early goal which they couldn’t defend as things carried on with them holding on.

Chelsea doubled their advantage in the 15th minutes with Christopher Nkunku once again with an outstanding finish which was assisted by Malo Gusto making it 2-0.

The game carried on hitting the 28th minutes which saw a wonderful freekick from Joao Felix which was pushed inside the net by Farman to make it 3-0.

Chelsea were in control after 45 minutes of action which saw them heading for the break with a 3-0 lead against Barrow after the first half action.

Second Half Report 

It was a beautiful remaining 45 minutes which saw another good outing for the home team who dominated things.

Pedro Neto scored in the 48th minutes which saw Chelsea increased their advantage in the encounter to 4-0 with an assist from Mudryk.

Barrow did enough but wasn’t solid as they were hit by Christopher Nkunku with a stunner which made it his hattrick in the 75th minutes.

It was 5-0 as the remaining minutes of the match played out with a number of changes being done on the pitch by Enzo Maresca.

Chelsea claimed a 5-0 victory making it another one for them as they edged out Barrow in the Carabao Cup after 90 minutes of action played.
