Ousmane Dembele scored an assist as France beat Belgium 2-0 at home in the UEFA Nations League, MySportDab reports.
It was another game that saw Kylian Mbappe failing to make anything much after coming off the bench in the second half.
First Half Report
The match started with pressure coming from both ends as they looked sharp and had some opportunities on goal very early.
Belgium was equally into the match which was heated with so much coming from them and also their opponent at the same time.
It was good for France who established more dominance before taking the lead in the 29th minute through a stunning goal from Randal Kolo Muani to make it 1-0.
Ousmane Dembele played a huge part in making the goal happen by ensuring his assist was placed in with perfection before the finish.
That goal was enough as France headed for the break by taking a 1-0 lead against Belgium after a wonderful first-half action.
Second Half Report
The second half didn’t go different from what happened in the first 45 minutes which saw the home side benefitting more from play.
Belgium did give it a good fight from the kickoff of the second half which saw them try mounting some pressure of sorts to see what could happen.
France were able to make another opportunity count in the 57th minutes which saw Ngolo Kante setting up Ousmane Dembele who was able to make it 2-0.
The game continued with more opportunities as the away side needed something to hold on to which didn’t happen despite how close they came to making it happen.
It was over as France claimed all three after 90 minute of action which saw them taking a 2-0 victory against Belgium which was well deserved.
