Lamine Yamal scored a brace as Barcelona thrashed Girona 1-4 in a mouth-watering clash, MySportDab reports.
Dani Olmo once again scored for Barca as he kept scoring for the side since making his move from RB Leipzig.
Pedri was also among the goal scorers who did so well ensuring they completed the job just like Hansi Flick wanted them.
First Half Report
It was an effort from the kickoff which the home side struggled to cope with everything which was happening on the pitch.
Girona was decent in the early minutes as they did do some playing but wasn’t enough to gift them something to hold on to.
It took Barcelona 30 minutes to start scoring after a wonderful effort from Lamine Yamal was things became 0-1 between both teams.
Another goal for Yamal in the 37th minute with an assist from Robert Lewandowski ensured the scoreline increased further to 0-2 for both teams.
Things were out of hand as Barcelona dominated play and headed for the break with a 0-2 lead against Girona who couldn’t give anything on their end.
Second Half Report
Incredible stuff from Hansi Flick’s side who were hands down better than the home side who couldn’t cope with all the pressure.
Dani Olmo made it count in the 47th minute after being set up by Jules Kounde which increased the scoreline to 0-3 as the match progressed for Barcelona.
Girona was having a nightmare as Pedri found a break and made things 0-4 with a powerful finish in the 64th minute with Cadaso’s assist.
The home side pulled one goal back through Cristhian Stuani’s finish in the 80th minute with Christian Portu making the assist as it turned 1-4.
Ferran Torres was shown a red card in the 86th minute before Barcelona finished the match with a 1-4 victory against Girona.
