FT: Manchester City 2-2 Arsenal, Stones Rescue EPL CHAMPIONS! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

A late goal from John Stones saw Manchester City played out a 2-2 draw against Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium, MySportDab reports.

The game was filled with a lot in talking points which saw both ends doing so much with a red card coming to play at some point.

Mikel Arteta side put up a good fight which saw them doing a perfect job despite them not having a full team on the pitch after the red card.

First Half Report 

The game started strong with so much competition from both sides who came in with the same approach on getting something early.

Manchester City wasted no time in making it 1-0 after a wonderful teamwork which saw Savinho setting up Erling Haaland who scored neatly In the 9th minute.

Arsenal responded in the 22nd minute through Riccardo Calafiori first goal since making the move to England which came from an assist from Bukayo Saka to make it 1-1.

The game entered the additional minutes in the first half and it was another goal from the Gunners through Gabriel Magalhães which made things 1-2.

Things quickly became messy after Leandro Trossard pushed Bernardo Silva leading to him getting another yellow card which made it red in the additional time.

It was good from Arsenal who headed for the break taking a 1-2 lead against Champions Manchester City after 45 minutes of action coming from both ends.

Second Half Report 

There was more in the second half which continued seeing opportunities upon opportunities with a red card which already reduced the away side.

The match was still close between both teams as Arsenal did everything possible to make sure they cover up perfectly for the one man disadvantage.

It wasn’t good for Manchester City who continued doing everything possible in attempts of trying to come back into the match which didn’t happen.

John Stones additional time goal made sure Manchester City crawl their way back and ended the match with a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes of play.
