FT: Southampton 0-3 Manchester United, De Ligt STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Matthijs de Ligt scored as Manchester United beat Southampton 0-3 in the Premier League match, MySportDab reports.

Marcus Rashford was also on target for the Devil’s who made sure they claimed all three points away from home.

It was a good one for Erik Ten Hag who saw his side getting the job done as the Saints got a red card before the end.

First Half Report 

It was a good game from the first half which both teams gave their best going forward to make something.

Southampton was decent enough to create something of their while also holding on to the game as things continued for them.

Manchester United conceded a penalty, but thankfully Andre Onana saved the spot kickoff of Cameron Archer in the 33rd minute.

The game quickly took a turn after a wonderful finish from Matthijs de Ligt in the 35th minute giving the Old Trafford club a 0-1 lead with a Bruno Fernandes assist.

Another goal was scored in the 41st minute which this time came from Marcus Rashford from an outside-the-box strike that made things 0-2.

Manchester United headed for the break with a big 0-2 lead against Southampton which was massive as they did gave all their best going forward.

Second Half Report 

Few happened in the remaining 45 minutes which was all about opportunities until a late goal happened for the visiting side.

Southampton continued to give the little they could offer in the match which was slowly going very far away from them.

Manchester United held on pressing until they forced a red card off Jack Stephens in the 79th minute reducing the home side by one player.

Things carried on until Alejandro Garnacho’s additional time goal with assist from Diogo Dalot which saw the match ending with Manchester United claiming a 0-3 win over Southampton.
