FT: Villarreal 1-5 Barcelona, Lewandowski And Raphinha Net BRACE! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha both scored brace as Barcelona thrashed Villarreal 1-5, MySportDab reports.

It was another outstanding performance from Barca who made sure they made light work of their opponent.

Marc-André ter Stegen was another bad news after being removed from the pitch due to an injury he sustained.

First Half Report 

It was a good start which saw instant impact with Robert Lewandowski stunning goal in the 20th minutes opening the flood gate as things turned 0-1.

Villarreal couldn’t comprehend what was happening on the pitch as Lewandowski made it a brace for himself with another goal in the 35th minutes to make it 0-2.

Barcelona kept at their wonderful display in the match but were hit back in the 38th minutes after Nicolas Pepe setup Ayoze Pérez who made it 1-2.

The match came to an end in the 45 minute which saw Barcelona taking a 0-2 lead against Villarreal after a good 45 minutes of action that took place.

Second Half Report 

The game continued in fine fashion except the incident which saw Marc-André ter Stegen got injured and was removed from the encounter.

The game carried on with Villarreal tried holding on until they went down further in the 58th minutes after a sweet finish from Pablo Torre who made it 1-3.

Barcelona could have increased things in the 67th minutes, but Robert Lewandowski could score from the penalty spot before Barry goal was ruled out for the home side.

The away side were able to add another goal once again in the 74th minutes through Raphinha who was able to make things 1-4.

Another goal for Raphinha making it a brace and scoreline 1-5 in the 83rd minute which Lamine Yamal was able to create the assist for the goal.

Barcelona rounded off the match with a 1-5 victory against Villarreal after 90 minutes of entertaining football which happened for the night.
