Pep Guardiola have revealed a shocker on Rodri injury which isn’t looking good in any way possible, MySportDab reports.
The Manchester City boss is expected to see the player go out for a very long time after suffering a major blow.
Rodri medical report meant the player won’t play any part for Manchester City this season and will need more time out.
Since the injury happened, it has never been good news despite many hope of something not too serious with the player.
There has been no official information for how long he won’t be playing anything for both club and country.
Rodri suffered from a ligament damage which is always something that takes a player out for a long time.
Some X-rays have been done confirming it is really a bad one for the player who shouldn’t be expected to play anytime soon.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Pep Guardiola made a comment concerning the whole situation with Rodri which he called a big one.
Here Is What He Said:
“One doctor said it’s a big, big injury… the other said not as much, so we’ll see”.
“Now it’s important to support him. Safe recovery, I would say not even a speedy recovery. Safe recovery for his future, for his career”.
He Added:
“When you are without the best midfielder in the world for a long time, it is a big blow. But my duty is to find a solution”.
“When a player is irreplaceable, we have to do it as a team as we did when de Bruyne was out”.
Meanwhile, Manchester City already have backup plans which is Ilkay Gundogan who returned from Barcelona during the summer window.
Rodri will miss a long time out of action as the club will be hoping to have him back as soon as possible.
