BREAKING! Rodri Ruled Out of The Rest Of The Season With ACL Injury

Manchester City have suffered a big blow as their key midfielder Rodri has been reportedly ruled out of the rest of the season, MySportDab reports.

According to FutMob, Rodri has picked up Crucial Ligament Injury (ACL) which will sideline him until the end of the season.

Recall the Spanish footballer picked up a knee cramp during Manchester City Vs Arsenal Premier League match on Sunday, September 22, 2023.

The 2024 Ballon d’Or nominee was forced off early into the first half of the match after he plunged to the ground while attempting to charge for the ball with Thomas Partey.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola addressed the injury concerns after the match saying he cannot detailed further on the injury as they are awaiting updates from the club’s medical department.

Now, FutMob reports that the player has been diagnosed with an ACL injury and will be sidelined for the rest of the season.

This will be a major setback to Manchester City, who are heavily reliant on the services of the prolific defensive midfielder.

The 2024 Euros winner has been the most efficient Manchester City footballer. Manchester City have won the most number of games when he is playing and lost more when he is not.

He is known for both his playmaking and defensive roles which allows him dictate play, create chances, and defend effectively during offensives.

His injury adds to the piling case of injuries at Manchester City with Kevin De Bruyne, Nathan Ake, and Oscar Bobb all sidelined.
