Vangelis Pavlidis scored a brace as England suffer a defeat 1-2 at Wembley Stadium against Greece, MySportDab reports.
The Three Lions didn’t find the match easy which was played without captain Harry Kane and so many others.
It wasn’t a good one at Wembley which Vangelis Pavlidis running through the English defense with a brace.
First Half Report
The game kicked off with the Greek national team filled with emotions following the death of a fellow countryman.
Greece put in a good shift going forward and were also well organized at the back which they kept away everything that came at them.
For England, it was more of the same with them coming with a 4-2-4 formation intended to see them play attacking all through.
It was closed shop between both teams who managed to push with all they had going forward but nothing was happening.
The first half came to an end with England 0-0 Greece after a good fought 45 minutes of action which was able to prove nothing tangible.
Second Half Report
The resumption of the second half brought about some changes in tactics which both managers wanted to see some difference.
Nothing was happening despite the dominance of England which shockingly went behind 0-1 in the 49th minutes through Vangelis Pavlidis goal.
Greece were in charge of things moving forward after the goal which was assist by Koulierakis as things carried on.
The game was closed from the away side who continued doing everything to keep themselves in the lead entering the 80th minute.
Jude Bellingham made it count in the 88th minute which ensured the scoreline became 1-1 as they continue with assist from Ollie Watkins.
Vangelis Pavlidis scored in the additional minutes which saw Greece beating England 1-2 at Wembley Stadium after 90 minutes of action that took place.
