In the second half, Italy extended their lead when captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo headed home from a Raspadori free-kick in the 54th minute.

However, Israel responded quickly, with Mohammad Abu Fani scoring directly from a corner, narrowing the gap to 2-1.

Italy pushed forward, and Davide Frattesi added a third goal in the 72nd minute, with Di Lorenzo sealing the victory and completing his brace seven minutes later.
