Erling Haaland scored a shocker which saw Manchester City earn a narrow 1-0 victory against Southampton, MySportDab reports.
It was a fine performance despite the goals not coming in multiple numbers as many fans would expect them to happen.
It was another incredible game for Haaland who increased his goal tally for the Premier League side once again.
First Half Report
It was all about Pep Guardiola’s side in the first 45 minutes which saw them dominating play going forward.
It took Erling Haaland 5 minutes to break the deadlock from a difficult situation to ensure things became 1-0 for Manchester City.
The game was close for Southampton but they just couldn’t find their way of getting themselves into the fold as they carried on with much to play.
The match progressed with pressure coming from the home team who wanted to make more happen against their opponent.
Manchester City escaped with a 1-0 lead headed for the break which Southampton couldn’t draw things back to level terms.
Second Half Report
It was a serious remaining half which there wasn’t much that could materialize on the pitch leaving the scoreline the same.
Southampton had so much on their plate which they needed to defend well and also tried making a goal which did not come.
The game was more on Manchester City side as they saw more of the ball and created most of the opportunities which failed to count.
It was still 1-0 entering the one hour mark which both teams still stayed in the game with hopes of making something happen.
The match came to an end which saw Manchester City claiming a 1-0 victory after 90 minute against Southampton who went down with a positive performance.
