Chelsea target Jhon Duran have signed a new long term deal with Aston Villa ending any chance of a move, MySportDab reports.
The striker have been widely talked about with numerous offers turned down in the just concluded summer window.
Jhon Duran won’t be making any move for a long time as he has decided to commit to a new contract with Aston Villa.
During the summer window, it was Chelsea and West Ham United made serious movements for the player.
It was more of the Hammers who had their offer not accepted by Aston Villa who wanted to keep the player.
For Chelsea, a deal couldn’t be reached also based on many reasons which included the player’s decision on his career.
The new contract for Jhon Duran will run until 2030 which puts off any chances of any team coming in to sign the player.
The new deal also included a significant pay rise for the player which was already agreed verbally sometime ago.
This news will come as a massive blow for many teams who are already planning on a move in the January window.
Jhon Duran is committed with Aston Villa to a contract that would see him remain with the club until 2030.
