Manchester United are reportedly eyeing Edin Terzic as one of the possible options to replace Erik ten Hag, MySportDab reports.

Ten Hag is searing under heavy pressure following Manchester United’s poor start to the season.

And it is understood that his position is under review with the club scrutinizing several replacement options for the manager.

According to The Sun, former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has emerged as a target for Man United to replace Ten Hag.

The 41-year-old rose to the peak of his managerial career after he took Borussia Dortmund to the final of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League.

He also worked under former West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic as assistant manager and obtained his coaching licence in England.

United have primed the German as a possible replacement for Erik ten Hag despite being out of coaching role after he left Borussia Dortmund at the end of the 2023-24 season.

A move to United by Terzic would signal a great leap in his managerial career.

However, MySportDab understands. He is not the only name linked to the Man United job.

Another German manager Thomas Tuchel is also reportedly in the running to replace Ten Hag.

Tuchel boosted a superior managerial profile and was close to becoming the club’s manager at the end of the 2023-24 season when Erik ten Hag’s role was under review again.

At the time of filing this report, United have yet to settle on a new manager for the team but Erik ten Hag’s role has been far more uncertain than ever with reports he could be sacked before United returns to action on Saturday, October 19 2024 against Brentford after the international break.
