Enzo Maresca have reacted over the title race which he had so much to say during his press conference, MySportDab reports.
The Chelsea boss was quick to address so much including his side chances of making something that is presumed impossible to happen.
Enzo Maresca is pleased with Chelsea position and efforts so far with the Premier League Title challenge being talked about.
Here Is What He Said:
“No, we are NOT in a title race, I already said this… we are not there”.
“Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal are ahead of us”.
“It’s nice to see the team improving, that is important; it is nice, a good feeling.”
“At the same time, you need to be realistic and you can see the difference between us and the rest at the moment.
“This doesn’t mean we are not going to win games and not compete until the end, but the main focus has to be the feeling we are improving game after game.”
“City lost three games in a row but they are still second. Arsenal are there [in fourth, level on 22 points], Liverpool are doing fantastic too.
“For me, it’s not about the points and table that they are ahead of us, it’s the process.”
“Arsenal is five years together, Man City more than eight years together, Liverpool is a bit different but they didn’t make many changes from the past.
“This is the reason. It’s not about points or difference in the table, it’s just the time together.”
The Blues manger is not making any promises yet but he believes they can give it a fight and so how it all goes down.
Enzo Maresca and the Chelsea team will continue their campaign in the Premier League with their next game this weekend against Aston Villa.
