The match saw the Lions capitalize on the away side’s defensive struggles, particularly after they were reduced to ten men early in the second half.

The opening goal came through a penalty from Harry Kane in the 53rd minute, following a foul on Jude Bellingham by Liam Scales, who received a second yellow card.

Anthony Gordon doubled England’s lead three minutes later, converting a well-placed volley after a defensive lapse by Ireland.

Conor Gallagher added a third, slotting in from close range after a set-piece which ensured things became complicated for the away team.

Substitute Jarrod Bowen made it 4-0 with a left-footed strike, exploiting the space allowed by Ireland’s depleted defense.

The final goal came from debutant Taylor Harwood-Bellis, who headed home from a Bellingham cross, marking a memorable debut for the young defender.

Ireland struggled to maintain their composure following the red card and failed to muster any significant attacking threat.

England made sure they came out of the match with the victory 5-0 which was more than enough for them with their excellent performance.
