FT: Liverpool 2-0 Real Madrid, Reds Sink UCL CHAMPIONS! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Liverpool beat Real Madrid 2-0 at Anfield Stadium in a heated Champions League clash, MySportDab reports.

The match was close between the two teams who struggled breaking down themselves despite all attempts in the early stages.

Kylian Mbappe and Mohamed Salah both missed penalty which could have reshaped the match between both teams.

The game started with the Los Blancos coming in with a number of key players missing from their starting lineup.

However Liverpool did have same issues of key players being injured, but it was no excuse for them not to field their best legs on the pitch.

Real Madrid were second best in the match which saw them chasing their opponent trying to get themselves in some good position on goal.

The game didn’t yield any goal as the two teams always had answers to all attacking pressure which came from the attackers.

Liverpool and Real Madrid were both okay to see themselves headed for the break with a 0-0 scoreline after a hard 45 minutes action.

They came out for the second half with so much work left to be done from both ends after they failed to make anything count.

Liverpool pressed until Alexis Mac Allister stunning goal in the 52nd minute which saw Conor Bradley making the assist as it turned 1-0.

Kylian Mbappe failed to put Real Madrid level after missing a penalty in the 61st minute before Mohamed Salah also did same in the 70th minute.

Cody Gakpo was able to double the home side lead to 2-0 in the 77th minute with Robertson making the assist which pushed them closer to victory.

Liverpool finished the job by making sure they beat Real Madrid 2-0 to claim a massive three points in their Champions League clash.
