Mohamed Salah scored his 9th goal for Liverpool this season as the Reds came from behind to defeat Brighton at Anfield, MySportDab reports.

The Reds survived a first-half scare by Fabian Hurzeler’s side to secure all three points and go top of the Premier League table.

It was a hugely contested clash with the two sides looking to take the lead.

Kadioglu scored just 14 minutes into the game to give the away side an unlikely lead after a brilliant start to the game.

Kadioglu’s strike changed the balance of the game with Liverpool pushing more to find an equalizer.

Despite a commanding spell of proceedings, it was still a deadlock for the Merseyside outfit in the first half.

Brighton defied the odds to tenuously hold onto the slim lead at the break, parking hordes of men at the back and frustrating countless Liverpool offensives.

The second half took a similar trajectory with Liverpool on the ascendancy, pushing hard for an equalizer.

After over an hour of endless attack and pressure, Cody Gakpo finally broke the deadlock for the hosts. The Dutch scored nine minutes after the hour mark to tie the score.

Three minutes after Cody Gakpo’s Liverpool opener, Mohamed Salah completed the comeback for the hosts, scoring to make it 2-1.

The quickfire double by the hosts was enough to turn the game in its head and hand Liverpool a valuable three points at home.

With the win, Liverpool are now top of the Premier League table with 25 points, two points better than Manchester City, who suffered a shock away loss to Bournemouth. Watch Video Highlights on YouTube
