Sporting Lisbon has appointed João Pereira as their new manager after Ruben Amorim’s last game in charge, MySportDab reports.
The new boss will commence immediately with the international break expected to see him settle down quickly.
João Pereira comes in as the new boss from his last job which was as the coach of Sporting Lisbon reserve team manager.
He has been promoted to handle over things as Ruben Amorim completes his move to Manchester United as their new manager.
According to Transfer News Live, they confirmed the recent appointment which was also made public by Sporting.
Here Is What Was Said:
“João Pereira is the new head coach of Sporting, replacing Rúben Amorim.
The Portuguese club is doing everything to make sure the team remains in the same shape despite losing their manager.
There could be future plan of assigning another manager going forward despite Pereira getting the promotion.
Ruben Amorim signed a long-term deal with Manchester United who are looking to rebuild once again following Erik Ten Hag’s experiment which did not work out.
João Pereira will look to maintain the same philosophy that was left behind as Sporting Lisbon would also look to retain their League title.
